Mesonic and Binding Contributions to the Emc Effect in a Relativistic Many Body Approach

چکیده
We revise the conventional nuclear effects of Fermi motion, binding and pionic effects in deep inelastic lepton scattering using a relativistic formalism for an interacting Fermi sea and the local density approximation to translate results from nuclear matter to finite nuclei. In addition we also consider effects from ρ-meson renormalization in the nucleus. The use of nucleon Green’s functions in terms of their spectral functions offers a precise way to account for Fermi motion and binding. On the other hand the use of many body Feynman diagrams in a relativistic framework allows one to avoid using prescriptions given in the past to introduce relativistic corrections in a non relativistic formalism. We show that with realistic nucleon spectral functions and meson nucleus selfenergies one can get a reasonable description of the EMC effect for x > 0.15, outside the shadowing region.

Relativistic nature of the EMC-effect
The deep inelastic scattering of leptons off nuclei is studied within the the BetheSalpeter formalism. It is shown that nuclear short-range structure can be expressed in terms of the nucleon structure functions and four-dimensional Fermi motion of the nucleons. The four-dimensional Fermi motion broadens the bound nucleon localization area, what leads to the observation of the nucleon structure ...

In the frame work of relativistic density functional theory, using full potential local orbital band structure scheme (FPLO), the magnetic properties of single 3d transition metals (3d-TM) adsorbed on 2D hexagonal boron nitride (2D h-BN) are investigated. Binding energies between 3d-TM adatoms and 2D h-BN in three different compositions, local spin magnetic moments of 3d-TM and total spin magne...

By using the convolution formalism which consists of Fermi motion and binding effect, we investigate the deep inelastic electron scattering from A=3 mirror in the deep-valence region. The initial valence quark input is taken from the GRVs (Gluck, Reya and Vogt) fitting procedure and the next-to-leading order QCD evolution on FP2 (x,Q2) which gives very good fit to the available data in the (x,Q...
متن کاملMagnetic moment of the deuteron as probe of relativistic corrections
Abstract: The calculation of the magnetic moment of the deuteron in the framework of the Bethe–Salpeter approach is performed. The relativistic corrections are calculated analytically and estimated numerically. It is shown that the main contributions are due to partial waves with positive energies and P–waves. A comparison with the non-relativistic schemes of calculations including mesonic exch...

Base on the non-relativistic Faddeev AGS method, three-body calculations of the coupled and quasi-bound KKN-πKΣ system are performed in the momentum space. Different phenomenological models of KN-πΣ potentials with one and two-pole structures of KN-πΣ resonance are used to study the dependence of double-kaonic system binding energy on the coupled KN-πΣ interaction. Also, the effect of the KK r...
